Good looking rims you have there, my 86 flareside 2 wheel drive came with 31 x 10.5 x 15" tires on Keystone turbo aluminum wheels and to me it looks like plenty of clearance and plenty of rubber tire showing. Barry B.

Reason: added tire size of 15"
I decided to go with a more factory style look and ended up finding some 15" Aluminum rims off a 1996 F150.
Great choice on rims, those are my favorite stock rims. 31x10.5 is a good size tire, and IMHO will look great on your truck. Nice paint job by the way!
Thanks guys. I think sticking with the 31x10.5 is the right choice. They will look better then my 235s at the moment for sure. And also like FuzzFace mentioned above the width of the tire can be an issue. I know some guys are running 11.5 wides on these rims but the 10.5 wide should wear better. Its hard to look for pictures online because everyones truck sits a bit different. On some trucks the 31s look huge and then on the next they look small. My rear seems to sit higher then most 2WDs in my opinion and my Dad is pretty sure that my Grandfather ordered this truck with a heavier rear suspension.
I do think these rims will add to the trucks appearance though. I'm thinking I should add the small chrome fender well lip trim as well since I have no trim at all anymore.
