been seriously ocnsidering an aftermarket tpms system & after all research, have decided on the tst 507.
only real question I have is, for those that have aftermarket systems, which type of sensor (cap or flow-through) and why did you choose that particular style?
is one more reliable, or dis it simply come down to personal preference?
I have no data on which style may or may not be more reliable, but I know how lazy I am so I bought the flow through sensors for my 507 setup.
We have been using a 507RV system from TST for 3 years now with 8 of the flow through sensors. No problems at all for us and the first batteries just died on our last trip in October so I will be replacing all of them before we set back off in the Spring.
We liked our system enough that we bought another set for friends of ours with a Class A RV 2 years ago and another set of friends with another Class A bought a system for theirs after checking ours out. Everyone has been very happy with these systems.
