fuel problem

Can someone please tell me where to locate the "power distribution box" on a '91 f-150, 300-6cyl, 5sp manual, supercab.
I am told a blown fuse in this box could be responsible for the failure of my fuel pump to start up when attempting to start my truck.
Thankyou, Larry

Left side of the engine bay , Next to the air filter housing you will see a plastic black box , its about 8 to 10 inches long & a couple of inches wide . This box houses the fuel pump relay & the EEC IV relay & the EEC IV Self Test Connecter . If you look closely you will see that printed on the top of the box . If the fuel pump is not energizing when you turn the key to run first check its fuse , The fuse panel is located under the dash , drivers side , you have to remove the panel under the steering column to access it . If the fuse is ok , next check the Inertia Switch to see if it has been activated , sometimes even bumping a tire into a curb is enough to cause the inertia switch to shut off the power to the fuel pump . The Inertia Switch is mounted on the inner firewall , behind & to the left of the clutch pedal assembly , Its a small black box that will have a red button on the top of it , If its been activated the red button is easy to see . If its popped up , push down on it & try a restart .
