I'm looking for a hi amp alternator for my 89 Bronco, one that I can run a 2 or 4 ga. cable to the battery. I guess I'm what you'd call "electrically challenged, hence the ONE WIRE," or otherwise this may be a stupid question. The '89 has a '91 302 EFI motor with the stock alternator that is pretty beat. I plan on installing a pretty big stereo, so I need a little more charging capability.
What do I do with the 2 molex plugs and wires going to/from my existing alternator after I bolt up this one?? I guess this one has an internal voltage regulator?? Will this one really work for my application?? Thanks for the help, guys.
