77 AND 86 351W block diff.
This might be a dumd question but i'm like to ask before i buy?Will this block bolt right up to my truck?
Will parts of my 86 fit onto the 77 block? etc...timing cover,heads,water pump.

They do the only difference I can think of is your 86block is onepiece rear main and the other is two. I had both types and everything was identical both blocks have the same deck height so no issues should arise, even the oil pan bolted up, I thought it would be different due to the seal but thats not the case. Someone else will probably give you more detail but I think you are good to go.

77 AND 86 351W block diff.
The 77 block most likely WON'T have the hole for the dipstick tube. Depending on your application you can get an oilpan to fit your truck that will have the dipstick through the side of the pan.
