new hpop, new problem!

Hi.
Just replaced the hpop on my 04' 6.0.
It had been down for about a year because
my low pressure oil light would come on after warm up.
Truck ran PERFECT, but dam light would come on.
Eventually it wouldn't start by cranking, but would on a bump.
(I have a 6spd.) still ran good. I would never run it over 5 minutes
because i didn't want to damage anything.
Finally getting around to fix it.
After a day of air testing, we tracked it down to hpop.
(air coming out of turbo drain tube)
I had a hunch that the dam bb on pump had spit out from similar
stories on FTE, and thats what happened.
replaced pump.
(its an older style pump BTW, although i have a january 04 build
and every ford parts guy said differently.)
Put everything back together and now it runs terrible!
We ran the truck for over 20 minutes and it didn't get better.
Im afraid its gonna damage something to keep running it.
My mechanic says 5 cylinders are misfiring and its something
to do with the ficm or injector harness....
But, it ran perfect right before the hpop change????
Everything was double checked to make sure it wasn't something dumb.
Any takers????

What codes is it showing and what's the ICP, ICPV and IPR showing?

Im not sure.
Mechanic says that the ficm has normal good voltage and that everything else
looks good. But now we have p0261, p0270, p0276, p0279....

What are you using to read live data? Need some numbers, otherwise it's all speculation.

Double check the connectors on the FICM. Maybe one of the connectors is loose.

We were thinking something with ficm too.
I will try to get some data on ipr/icp tomorrow.
Anyone know if those specific injectors codes are on the same plug?
from the fuel injector harness to ficm that is?
I will also give that another look tomorrow.

I had an issue with an 06 that would develop a miss because the harness didn't clip in to the FICM due to broken clips. It was the middle plug I believe. Shadetree fix but ended up with some heater hose under the ficm to maintain slight pressure on the plugs to keep them snug.

Check your FICM connectors. Those codes are for # 1, 4, 6 and 7 cyls. They are all on one connector . I think that connector C1388a is the back one.

got to at least throw in some duct tape or bailing wire in there...
