temp sensor

I have a 2014 F150 STX 3.7L that is showing a temp symbol and the gauge stops working. I'm not overheating. I bought a new sensor and now I cannot find where it goes. the dealership will not help just to say bring it in and we will look at it in 3-5 days. They wont even tell me where it is. I'm furious with Ford rIght now because I cannot get any support!!! can anyone tell me or show me where this sensor goes?

I could be wrong but believe it's threaded into the back of one of the cylinder heads.

You are absolutely right back of the head against the fire wall. Have to remove the intake to get to it

Fantastic, I'm glad you got it figured out. Thanks for posting the update for others who might find themselves in the same predicament.
