I thought about getting one of those kits but don't know that I really want to tackle it laying on my back so I'll wait and take it down in the spring. The first fellow I was talking about also has a towing business and could come and take it down on one of his flat decks. He said if I bought a membership it allows for up to 5 free tows so would only cost me $125...
I have AAA so they are free..

I think that is the membership he's talking about AAA, a regular tow charge would be a round $450 so the membership would be a cheap way of getting it down there..

I'd likely have to take it to the big city to have any mandrel bending done and that's 250 miles away..

I changed them the last time I planed wood for book cases that I made for this woman. Building a King size bed for her. More walnut to butcher.
