Engine won't idle

I have a 1988 f150 5.0L EFI 4x4 the engine won't keep idling it will only idle when i hold the throttle plate open a little. I don't have any codes. I put new plugs in, and put a new high pressure fuel pump in. my idle air control valve is not stuck. the fuel pressure is good with the engine off but drops right after the engine is off. i did not find any vacuum leaks. don't know where to look next. really need some help. thx rick

How do you know? Did you get System Pass Code 11 for the KOEO tests and stored code (Continuous Memory) display?

How did you test it to verify that statement?

Please quantify "fuel pressure is good". Fuel pressure dropping off that quickly could be a stuck injector.

How and where did you check?

I'm not trying to be an ***, we need more information for how you came to the conclusion some items are "good".
