Looking at getting some aftermarket wheels for my 2016 4x4. There seems to be a wide range of backspaces available. Looking for 20x9 or 8.5 with 32-33 inch tires. not going to lift the truck. I don't want them to stick out too far, a little more than stock would be ok though. What should I look for on the backspace? Or offset
Keep in mind that too much of a positive offset will cause rubbing when you turn the wheel. For what you want, with no lift or levelling kit, I would want no less than 5" of back space on a 9" wheel.
Here's a shot of 20x9, 0 offset moto metal 970's with 275/65/20 GY duratrac tires. The tires are a little over 34" tall and 11" wide. The truck is leveled 2", but if you use a smaller tire there shouldn't be a problem with stock ride height.
