Did you install the cover yourself? What did it set you back and does it keep water out well for extended periods of driving?
Thanks! I got the cover on Black Friday for $827 and free shipping. It was very easy to install and took less than an hour. I had a Bak Flip VP on my F150 so I was familiar with installing the rails. I just put it on yesterday so I don't know how dry the bed will stay from personal experience but most everything I've seen from others makes it seem like it does a good job. I'm really hoping things stay reasonably dry. The fit is perfect and seems really well sealed so I'm very optimistic!

Thanks. I'll be ordering the shorter antenna for mine. I rarely listen to the radio anyway. I like your bug deflector. That will be on my list also.

Is the bug deflector Ford OEM? I like that it still says super duty on it. Also for the bed cover, can you just pull it forward from the back on top of it self or can you only roll it? I ask because when I get my truck I'm putting bike racks on the bed and cant roll it. I had their retractable cover on the last truck.

Thanks!

Yes; the bug/hood deflector is Ford OEM. I love it; easy to install and I think it looks great. The Super Duty letters are the same size as those on the hood which make the Tuff Skinz letter inserts (pics in that thread) fit perfectly!

As for the tonneau, it only rolls. I went with this one so it can be rolled completely open and not block the back window like my BakFlip VP did.

I have a bike rack I made out of PVC that I can throw in the bed...works great and also works with cover rolled open. I don't have pics of it with this truck/cover but here are a couple from my F150...first pic is assembled bike rack, then with bikes in the rack in the bed of my F150 and last pic is painted/final rack. (FWIW, I normally put the back tires of the bike in the rack when traveling...)

Brady420, would you mind posting a full front end shot showing the bug shield. I have a chrome one on my 2009 F 250 and think it looks great with the chrome bumper and grill slats. I think I will order the chrome one from Ford since I am getting White Platinum but want to make sure it looks good from directly in front. Like the bike rack!

Nice idea! I really liking the PVC bike rack.

Here you go...two pics of the bug deflector from the front. I have the chrome Tuff Skinz letter inserts installed on the hood deflector so the Super Duty letters do not normally stand out. The first pic shows the Super Duty letters close up so you can see what the hood deflector looks like 'out of the box'. The second pic is the pic from the front you asked for where you can see the full deflector with the letter inserts.

Looks great Brady420. Tks for posting. I plan to order the OEM Chrome Bug Shield. The lines are very good on the Ford Bug Shield and to me makes the front a little taller looking/imposing if that makes sense.

I noticed that there are two black ones on the ford site. Is yours the black molded one or the smoke one would you know? Thanks!

When you zoom in on this one it looks like the letters are raised:
Hood Protector by Lund - Aeroskin Part No: VHC3Z-16C900-C

This one looks like the same one he has with the recess lettering:
Hood Deflector - Black Molded Part No: HC3Z-16C900-A

Nice! I have been stocking up on upgrades as well. Need to get all this out of the way before I have to start paying on the damn thing.
