Summit called this AM

We get a ton of telemarketers because my wife is sure she is going to win a big prize and enters all contests., so when the phone rang this am, against my suggestion my wife picked it up. It was Summit verifying our address for a delivery Monday or Tuesday. What could be so special that they needed to verify our address, I mean they have delivered lots of stuff here. Hmm, what could it be????? What have I wanted like forever, hmmm, hmmm, hmmm, indeed. Shhhh .

Jimmy...if you are anything like me you already know the answer to that, "what have I wanted forever" question...it's in your garage or on your truck. The wife always says to me, "will you for once NOT buy what you want and leave something for your family to get you for your birthday/Christmas?" Good luck Jimmy, maybe it's a gift from Speedy Bill himself!

Bingo, give that man a cigar. After a lot, and I do mean a lot of soul searching, going thru the monthly $ ledger. to be sure we could afford it, I realized that each Christmas I always tell my wonderful wife "Don't get me anything, I spend enough on truck stuff". Ill tell you, this was an emotional struggle for me. Like I mentioned B4 honesty is super important in our marriage and I wont lie to my wife, But I feel ok about this one, I have wanted to complete the Edelbrock top end package and should bring me up to the 350 HP range give or take as close as I can figure, I know each motor is different so we will see. Now I need to save up for gaskets and rockers and maybe pushrods, mine are hardened but will have to check length.
Thanks for playing along guys, IM looking forward to seeing what Christmas gifts you guys get for your trucks.

Your truck is going to say vroom vroom . Or in other words," Oh Jimmie, you shouldn't have".
