Kindigit 55 Headlight Question

I understand it's custom but does anybody know where I can find an oval headlight housing similar to this one?

Thanks and Happy Thanksgiving
Rich

for this project

Holy crap! I love it. Is it going to shoot flames out the front, back, or both?

I saw both episodes of that 55 F100 project. And it was the best looking 55 I've ever seen hands down. I'm not usually that drawn to customs, but they really nailed that one. Stretching the cab just transformed it for me.

I am not sure if you saw the show on TV, but the picture you display above is a little distorted I think. The headlights were not oval like that. I believe they used "eyebrows" to achieve the effect you are after. I could be wrong though.

Here are a couple of lousy screen shots of my TV that give an indication of how they treated the headlights. It was via a custom bezel with a built-in droopy eyelid.

There are a number of ways to make a headlight bucket like this one, metal spinning is one...
If you don't have the necessary tools I would search out a bowl or pot in the general shape of the headlight bucket and then modify it to match. The wife has Revere Ware pots that have that general shape...cut out the bottom and you're good to go.

Looking at the picture on the television screen that was posted above they look like they could be from a 56 grill with the center section cut out..
