Torque specs: Intake around 25-30 ft lbs I think will do it.
Valve covers probably around 10 ft lbs-not much or it will crush gasket.

Never really read the book to know exactly. Sure someone here will know the real numbers, but I think I am in the ballpark.

As for rear gear ratio. Look to see of there is still the factory tag on one of the bolts holding the center section in. The bottom line should tell you 3.25 or 3.00 or whatever it may be. If the tag is missing then you need to jack up truck and rotate driveshaft and see how many turns the wheels turn for driveshaft revolutions. It should get you close....3 1/4 revolutions(of driveshaft) to 1 tire=3.25 ( and so on)

As for steering column, not sure you need to change everything. It all depends on which box you will be using...I THINK. Again, someone here should be able to point you in the right direction.

Intake 32 - 35 ft. lbs.

Valve cover, sheesh I'll have to dig that up.

Has anyone really ever put a torque wrench on their valve cover bolts?
