I have a 2013 F150 Super Crew. I put my new aftermarket stereo in myself, and added a Sirius satelite tuner. The best place I've found for the magnetic based antenna, is coming out of the 3rd brake lite.
And I'm wondering if any of you have done this same job yourself, and have any tricks, or things to avoid while doing this. I'm hoping to be able to lower the drivers side enough to tuck the antenna wire, and feed it our the3rd brake lite and be done.
Use an old wire coat hanger (straightened out) to help fish the wires without pulling so much apart.
Exactly what we ended up doing
My Sirius antenna is on the roof of the cab, coming out the 3rd brake light and looks great, no wire showing, didn't have any fits or throwing tools. It was a good day
Also, since the stereo had to come out of the dash, again....I went ahead and ran an AUX wire from the jack on the back of the new stereo. I want to use this for Speaker Calibration. It's supposed to make a heck of a difference in the sound.
