Hello im trying to add freon to my Ranchero....I have found the port on my compressor to add freon, or what I believe is the correct place, I have bought a couple of adapters and I havnt had any luck with recharging the system....I dont know if it is the adapters or if im just doing something wrong.......
Make sure you have the right fill port. If you fill thru the high side, you can hurt yourself bad. The low side port will be in the line between the compressor and the drier, or sometimes even on the drier.
Put a set of gauges on the system first to see if you actually need freon. If it's low, or empty, you have a leak, which should be repaired first.
