New from MS

Hi everyone! I am an RN by profession but in December of 2015 I became a widow with 2 kids, a 1995 F350 7.3L turbo flatbed, a 1997 F800 8.3L bucket truck, & a 2006 F350 6.0L Super Duty so now I have also assumed the roll of mechanic. I just recently "diagnosed" my 06 flatbed & fixed with the occasional help of one of my late husbands friends. Doing this put a drive in me like no other. If I (who only knew how to put air in a tire and put key in ignition about a car before my husbands death) can replace an IPR in a 6.0 & it start running again I believe I can do anything if I set my mind to! And I really enjoyed it. For me it was like learning a new language! HPOP, FICM, ICP, ICM wow there are so many abbreviations I felt as if I were back in nursing school! I could go on and on but I've got to go find where to post on my F800 so I can get busy on it!

Welcome from VA. Sorry about your loss. This site will help you greatly with the trucks. Mine is an old 55 which in some ways is easier to work on and some ways not. The tech on mine is sure much less - Don't need to worry about any computer stuff. As the kids get older, maybe they will get involved. Great work and attitude - keep it going.
