When they were 1st built, your are rite about ob1 . I ordered my truck from ford. Rec,d it in April 1995. In late May I had the injector O-rings replace because it smoke like crazy when starting it cold. When ford did the O-rings they also updated the PCM to OB11. So if the truck went back to ford for warranty work or complaints on how they ran Ect. they usually were updated to OB11. Now I,m waiting for help to-morrow Friskyjake

You may be rite. I was there when they updated mine. They hooked up a computer to my ob11 port under the dash & flashed [ or whatever they did} & stuck a decal to my firewall which have a bunch of # ect. Is this what you meant by opening a port? So what is the difference in the ob1 & the ob11? This is very interesting no know. Thanks Friskyjake
