Thinking about your questions, I will provide a bit of caution though. My advice comes with the assumption that your truck is at or near 100% with all sensors, brakes, transmission, injectors and what not working as they should be.

Don't worry about it at all. Just take your time when traveling and learn how the truck reacts and drives differently. Our trucks are way underrated and you would be amazed at some of the weight these guys are pulling with the 7.3. The tires are normally the weakest part of the equation and you have E rated tires, so hook up and enjoy life.
