The seller and I have agreed on a price on this 1937 pickup and it's very reasonable. I can't get the Pickup until the 3rd week of February. That's a long time for something to change. Got my fingers crossed on this one.

Guys,
We have snow flurries today. Hope the weather holds out for the next few weeks. I'd really like to get this truck home before bad weather sets in.

Well.....things have changed just a little but for the good. Since my wife works for Atla Van Lines that is who will be picking up my 37 but it won't be until sometime between Feb 20th thru the 24th but the shipping price just cant be beat "FREE". I'm confident enough in this transaction that I purchased an original 1937 Indiana license plate on eBay. It was the only one I could find online. Still don't won't to tell just where this truck is located until it leaves the sellers position. You never know what could happen. I've already lost a 1936 pickup I bought.

My newly acquired 1937 Ford pickup will be picked up next week in Delaware. It has a 350 sbc on the business end, headers, 650 carb, drum brakes rear, and disk up front. It needs a little work as I was not looking for a show truck. It's not my favorite color but it's machanically sound.

That truck looks well put together. Now (when you get it) drive the hell out of it!

Interesting mix.....it has a '36 grille, '32 front bumper and a '49 Plymouth rear bumper.

I had a schwinn stingray in 1965 that was the exact same color. I Do like the 36 grille and as far as driving the heck out of it, I'd paint it with rustoleum rusty metal primer first. As you're driving around you can dream up the perfect color for this cool truck! Congrats on your find.

Thanks guys. Your are correct on the grille, front and rear bumpers. The 49 Plymouth rear bumper I believe is called a ripple rib bumper. I think the combination looks kewl. Not to sure about the rear fenders though, may have to replace them down the road. Hope to take delivery on it in about 10 days.

Good looking truck! Glad your patience and tenacity finally paid off. Manual or auto? Should be a kick to drive either way.
