Bed Extender
I ordered an F350 with the 5th wheel prep which mans that I could not add the bed extender. Has anyone added one after the fact and are there any problems using the extender?

Rumor has it that the light connector is in the way of the bed extender or the mounts for it.

The bed extender covers the in bed trailer electrical connection.

Crap, really? My dealer has one on order for me to be added. I'm looking to have it installed in the next week.

let me know how it works out. I plan on doing the exact same thing. What did they charge for the bed extender in your case?

It was part of the negotiation upfront.
