Wicked Customs Level
Wicked Customs Level
Hey guys I don't mess with suspension components much but i feel the nose is too down on this new truck and i think imma have to add a kit up front.
So i really wanted the ready lift 2.5" kit but they told me 4 weeks before it will be ready
so i seen on other trucks people been installing wicked customs and i never heard of them before any reviews or experiences good or bad?
i see they have a 2.5" , 3" and and 3.5"
i just want truck level when unloaded which one you guys think would be best.
Thanks

I wouldn't lift anything. Im 5'6" and old. Getting in this monster is hard enough. The back end is definitely higher than the front. Im measuring about 2.5" higher in back. Is there a way to lower the rear end?
In my opinion the rear of these trucks sit up too high. My truck is a F350 CCSB. Rear of the truck just looks ridiculous from the back. This height will make even a tall 5th wheel sit nose up. Everyone is lifting the front to level their trucks then putting larger tires to fill the huge gap in the wheel well. I like the look of the front and don't want to lift it or change the front end geometry at all right now. The rear has a 3"+ block between the rear axle and the springs. I will be changing that block to a 1.5" block to drop the rear a little. My truck will still have a slight rake. My intentions are to put air bags to keep the truck at this height when loaded and to prevent any sag. You can change this block to adjust the rear however you like. Lift kits often simply put in a larger block to achieve lift. You can do the same to lower this truck the amount of the adjustment block. Depending on how much you change the size of the block you may need new u-bolts. Other than that it's a very easy process that shouldn't take more than a few hours even for the inexperienced. Be sure to put the block with the shorter side forward to keep the pinion angle correct.
Also, after any adjustment to the trucks ride height, do everyone else on the road a favor and adjust your headlights down. So many people will alter their trucks and spend thousands doing it but refuse to make a simple adjustment to their headlights to prevent oncoming traffic from being blinded at close distances. This simple correction is commonly overlooked and often refused by those who "think" their headlights are just fine.
Also Nimrod, you could change the leaf spring pack in the rear to let it sit down a little lower. A much more costly option but it does have some benefits. Some of the aftermarket options are softer and will ride a little better but be careful in doing so if you tow heavy because obviously those softer ride springs tend to sag much more under a heavy load. The air bags would solve that issue if added to have the best of both worlds.
