NEED HELP FAST!
When I went to start my truck (1989 F-150, 5.0L 4x4) yesterday, it started fine, but the starter motor kept spinning. I could turn the engine off and take the key out and the starter motor would keep running. I had to pull the ground battery cable to stop the starter. I replaced both the starter and selenoid about 15 months (13000 mi) ago. The starter is a reman. model. Could it be something in the starter hung up? I thought that the selenoid controle the flow of juice to the starter motor, could it be that? I'd like to get this fixed today so I don't have to find another vehicle when I leave for vacation tomorrow.
