I just sold my 51 f1 and bought a 56 f100.i always wanted a 56 and now I have one.i got a real good deal from my friend.he is in his 70's.he just had another heart attack and he is really scared.he is selling EVERYTHING and moving back up north to be by his kids just in case something happens to him again.he bought a chevy nova that had been t boned with 20,000 miles on it.he took everything off of the nova and put it on the 56.he used the nova clip -350-350 turbo-nova rear.he pulled the engine out and put in new timing gear and chain-new water pump-oil pump.i don't know what the gear ratio is yet but it is the nova rear.he put in an aluminum radiator with an electric fan and schroud.all new mirrors-new door handles inside and out from dennis carpenter-brand new still in the box headliner and rubber.ididit chrome steering column-23 in lokar shifter.2 speed electric wipers one year old.the air condition is only 6 months old.all new glass and rubbers.he even got the whole chrome vent window assembly-american racing wheels.it has manual brakes and it is hard to stop.i have to put power brakes on it.the doors have to be adjusted-I t needs new hood springs.it is not very pretty,it is that rusty color primer. but I am happy,i got a good deal and it is mine.i still cant post any pictures yet and I don't know why.i am still trying. HELP
