Well since you mentioned eat, Friendly's has a free breakfast with coffee for vets this morning. A bunch of us car guys eat there every Friday morning. It was even nicer getting it for free.

Malone's in Lexington is also giving free lunch to Vet's today- it is amazing how many people say Thanks for serving. When I got out in Dec 68 I was called a baby killer by a long hair hippie kid when I walked thru O'hare airport. My brothers stopped me from doing the boy harm. Little did the kid know but O'Hare was named for Butch O'Hare a WW II air ace hero! There is the same model of his plane on display in the airport.
