I have a 51 F-1 and have a 46 and a 51 226 engines. I have had a hard time finding gaskets for them, especially the 46. Last weekend I went to a local automotive swap meet and stumbled on a local company. Olson's claims to be the world's largest supplier of engine gaskets for the "antique" market.
Not sure if you guys have heard of them so wanted to let you know about them. I am not related to them other than as a client. They had the oil pan set with rope seals for my 46 in stock! www.olsonsgaskets.com
If their quality is there, that is great to have an alternative! I see on their website they sell the ring gasket for oil pan clean-outs, not included with FelPro etc.
Looks good so far. I will probably need to slightly adjust a couple bolt holes for the oil pan. Less than 1/4" Everything that I saw looked nice. Plus they can make gaskets custom if needed or is something not available.
