Flatbed fabricated by Riecher's Truck Bodies. Very happy with it!
I'm going to have to make a trip back out there, the fuel filler is parallel to the ground, and while Love's works, and other stations work with the nozle upside down, it looks like it'll be trivial to put it on a bit of an angle and ease refueling.
Otherwise awesome. Will add boxes eventually. The extra weight of the flatbed (I think it added around 450 pounds, based on some quick back of the envelope math) has made the ride nicer, though the headlights were just slightly high. Adjusted them a bit this evening, think I over adjusted, but hopefully won't be blinding people now.
Not sure. Short list has work lights on the back, a compressor and air tank, and an inverter with an extra battery. Long term I'd like to do the dual-fuel CNG conversion as well.
Been all kinds of fun, will be an awesome mobile workshop soon.

What kind of work do you do? Maybe consider a small welder with 120v power instead of the inverter. Might be less money considering the cost of the larger inverters and more versatile.
It is a sharp looking rig. If using for service you might consider 3M conspicuity tape at a few points around the edge of the flatbed. A little expensive but cheap insurance if working after dark. Plus it looks sharp!

Professionally? I'm an IT pro. This truck's for everything else I like to do, I enjoy hunting and working on all kinds of projects, and I've picked up a lot of woodworking... girlfriend and I are seriously considering building furniture for secondary income. We've built most of our furniture and our friends are asking us to build for them. The flatbed's just more useful for me, when getting wood I like being able to actually strap it down, with the pickup bed I have to get enough wood to get above the strap points, it can be loaded with a forklift trivially, and the stake pockets let me build different setups for different needs on the fly.
I also enjoy traveling and want to get into some racing if I wind up with the time and money after the rest of my hobbies
I grew up in construction and my dad runs an irrigation business, so I pull tractors and the like around fairly often.

Thanks
Was thinking about the reflective tape last night, will probably add some. I find myself out at night pretty often, and sometimes I prefer it, so the extra insurance is probably worth it.
