i have a 97 F250HD Powestroke with front disk brakes and rear drums. i have never changed the brake fluid, but it has never leaked, either. i have 78,000 miles and the front pads are original. i have changed the rear pads once and am ready again. the front pads have little wear, and one side of the disk on one of the front wheels has minor surface rust, leading me to believe the pad isn't even closing on the disk. anyone know why the rear drums seem to be grabbing more than the front disks?
