Has anyone experienced a misfire (#2 cyl.) that doesn't put the CEL on, but does put up a pending P0302 code? Plugs and COP,s all have been replaced with no change.
Thanks, Butch
Butch - Is this a 2.3L or 3.0L? We see a good number of PCMs fail on these vehicles but they will usually throw the P0352 instead of the P0302. The P0352 points to a bad PCM due to damage by a faulty ignition coil. Also, what type of coils did you install?

I'm sorry, I wasn't thinking on my original post. This is a '02 with the 3.0 V-6 engine. The replacement parts are from Ford. As I said, the CEL isn't on, but a P0302 is in the pending section of my scanner. I have heard of this being an ECM problem, and naturally, I'm looking for a less drastic solution.
Thanks, Butch
