AC/Heater lever doesn't function correctly

Hey so my AC climate control lever doesn't go past the cold temperature. I tried replacing the control box to see if that's was the issue but it didn't fix it. Not sure what I should do from this point. Any suggestions?

I have 1986 Ford F-150 I6 300 4.9L

Post a pic of the control. If it's a lever style, a cable could be stuck or it could be stuck where the cable reaches it's end point. Work OK before?

Factory-instaleld or dealer-added A/C? The factory controls were vacuum-controlled vent position selector and a cable-controlled temperature control.

I will have to post a pic on the weekend when I go out to work on it. I'm sure a cable is stuck but I don't know how to access them.

Its an original part.
