thx to all on this forum, we've broken through & were contacted by the salesman @ our dealership & given a VIN with a born date of 14 NOV. Our 2017 XLT F250 was order on 14 JUL which is 4 months. Our next step is to get the window sticker but due to the fire & evacuation of Dearborn headquaerters on Hallowen yesterday we can't access ETIS. Is there an approximate time lag between getting a VIN & being able to get a window sticker print out so I can verify that the VIN is in fact our vehicle? Just can't sing the praises often e'nuff how great it is to be a part of this forum. It's helped us keep our sanity these past months. We were spoiled by Ford in 2009 when we ordered our '09 F150 XLT 4x4 Flareside SuperCab on 25 FEB & took delivery on 25 MAR ----- quite incredible for sure.

 

Windows sticker doesn't show up until about a week before it's built. ETIS will at least give you a few tidbits of info about the vehicle early, then fully populate once it is actually built.

 

I just received my vin.#today,witha build date of 11/21/2016 ? Hope it is!!!

 

on order is a 2017 f250,cc,4x4,Lariat Ultimate,6.7,Ruby Red, 3.55 E-Locker,LOADED!!
Order on 10/10/2016,Vin # 11/01/2016. YA HOO!!
