New guy from PA
Two weeks ago a bought a 96 F250 RCLB with a 351/5spd and a western plow. Bought it mainly to plow with and use as a backup/hunting truck. The truck needed more work then I realized so I came across a 95 F250 RCLB with a 460/5spd for cheap. The plow is being switched over to the 95 currently. Should have both trucks back by the end of the week. Best part is they are the same color, so I plan to take a bunch of parts off the 96 to use on the 95 over the winter.
I'm not too familiar with these trucks especially the 460s. I have owned a 85 F150 with a 302/auto and a 96 F150 with a 300/5spd in the past, so I have some knowledge.
Look forward to learning from you guys here!
The bed on the 96 is about shot, but the cab and front end are in good shape. The 95 with the 460 I just bought is in better shape. Passenger side of the bed had a patch panel put on and bondo over it and drivers side is starting to rust and can be easily fixed.
I plan to switch out drivers fender and probably drivers door, but there's no rush. Good winter project.
