Got VIN# this week, checked Etis to see if it recognized #, it did and showed a build date: 30.11.002. how is this date read? As it is early in the game at this point, I would imagine the projected date is of little value, but may be relevant at some point?

The long wait begins

Mine show the same numbers Tonight.

It will show basic info on your truck. However I believe the
build date will appear a day after your truck is built..

You can also look for your window sticker at

( it might be a few weeks out)
I believe when you get your window sticker to show.
Your truck is well on its way to being built.

I received my vin in September.
a month later I got the window sticker.
October 26.

My Dealer says showing build date week of the October 24.
last update was it was "Bucked" my understanding
it meant the frame was mounted on a "buck"to
start the journey down the production line.

My guess is the from the paper work dealer emailed last Thursday.
was a possible build date of today..
Not really sure at this point.

Truck is is showing ETA
mid November.

It's a process,
there are a ton of knowledgeable people in here who have been great to me explaining the process.

It can be nerve racking!

What Loco said. I think im on the same time frame Loco. Ordered 9/19 got Window sticker last Saturday. Dealer told me 10/24 week build. Waiting for the 30.11.002 to change with the build date.

 

Well, after reading all the stories about all the long waits on this forum, I'm not sure I want to fess up to this. But I ordered my 350 Lariat on Sept 15 and it arrived at dealer today. Maybe the long waits are over.

 

Gary congrats!!! Mine was ordered 10/24 and it will get built this week. ETA delivery is 11/21. Sorry guys I meant 9/24 not 10/24. Doh

 

Yes, that build date is just a place holder, the actual date wont show up till after it is built, maybe a day, then Eits wont populate completely for almost a week after that.

 

What did you order? And pics or didn't happen!

 

wow, that’s quick. mine was ordered 10/15, not sure when it was picked up, but my ETA to idaho is 12/11-17

 

It's a 350 srw short bed diesel Lariat. I am out of town and don't expect to get to pick it up till mid week. But I will post pics when I do. Sure didn't expect to see it here this soon.

 

That's about right. My truck was ordered on 9/24/16 (sorry is said 10/24 above). So it's 3 weeks between your ETA and mine. Keep in mind that thanksgiving week is in there and KTP my be shutdown for a few days for the holiday.

Hey guys, just curious how long it took ETIS to show all the build info for your trucks after it showed the build date?
On 11/21 mine showed a 11/19 build date and I am just excited to see any/all info and updates

 

"WHERE'S THE FIRE? HOTFOOT!" That's what my mom said to me when I was impatient. ETIS fully populated for me about 4 - 5 days after build. It's cool but it can also create worries if something looks like it's wrong. Just enjoy the detail but rely on your window sticker for accuracy.

 

i'm curious as well. mine went int production 11/18, but according to the visibility report it is still in production. build was supposed to be 11/21. how long after build does it take etis to show built? anxious to see it actually built.
eta remains the same.
