new carburetor?
I have recently purchased an 86 ford f250 7.5 460. Runs great but it is now bogging down when idle and sometimes stalls due to such a low idle.holley carb. I am thinking needs rebuilt. Not familiar with this. If anyone has any idea what I could check before spending the $$ for it I would appreciate it.

rebuild it. evereytime i purchase a carb'd vehicle i rebuild the carb unless it was done prior to purchasing. it does wonders! better MPG and much more responsive. its worth doing.
