The last vehicle I bought had "dealer optioned" nitrogen fill on every car on the lot. Almost walked out because they refused to delete the charge. After educating the salesman/sales manager on the actual science (I spent 23+ years flying in the USAF and trust me, I know the the advantages of nitrogen in high performance/zero tolerance applications.) they deducted the charge...frustrating process when all I want to do is buy a vehicle and be on my merry way.
Bottom Line: It has absolutely NO benefit for any vehicle out on any public road. But, there are still those that insist...so more power to you, its your money spend it how you want. I just try to help educate. There certainly is no negative aspect of nitrogen other than people may not check their pressures as often as they should.
Perhaps I should look at starting up a "mobile nitrogen refill" service...no, I can't do that because I have integrity, morals and believe in ethical business transactions.

Taking a deep breath and exhaling slowly, Brian Satovsky stripped down to his boxers before stepping inside of what looked like a futuristic space chamber.
As Satovsky was enclosed in the chamber, nitrogen began to rise around his neck and fog his glasses, dropping the temperature around him to minus 210 degrees Fahrenheit. Just as he started to laugh and get comfortable in the cold, his three minutes were up.
Before entering a chamber, each person is required to wear socks and gloves provided by the spa to prevent frostbite. Men have to wear underwear, but it’s optional for women. The entire body is enclosed in the chamber, but the head is left out because of the danger of inhaling too much liquid nitrogen.
At Cyrospa Detroit as well as Boost Cryospa, each session is $65 or three for $99. Cryobalance charges $40 a session or $110 for three.
I guess if you sit in it you can run out to your car and fart up your tires

My favorite tire store locally fills the tires with N2 for free when you purchase from them. I can't get them to give me a credit for not using it. I wonder who is paying for the gas and the equipment in order for it to be "free."
And this reminds me of a large local lake in NY, Seneca Lake. In the winter the lake never freezes. We used to stop and fill the cooling systems in the trucks from there because the water in the lake never froze. Must be good for the trucks too!!

I am kinda "green" with envy. 40+ miles per gallon, I don't care about cheating a little on emissions, considering all the important cheating going on today!

The "Scam" is not the science....that's totally proven.....the "Scam" is you're being charged for it!
I love that there are always nay-sayers to every issue in the world, and the fact that they have to make it a point to say they their credentials and have a fancy piece if paper saying they choose a career is bull and automatically dis-credits them in my book.

Latest I heard from my dealer is City mpg will go down, but Highway will go up! Makes sense because that's exactly what our Chevy Cruze was like for mileage and they comply.

I'm ok with them filling my tires with nitrogen as long as I don't pay for it. Also, I'll make sure to remove the green valve caps and any indication that I have it. I don't want to look like someone that bought snake oil!
