I think what I'd like to do (like what Randy said) is get a 6.7 and drill and tap the lower hole to use the original size bolt in it as long as that wouldn't weaken that mounting ear. That's 10mm by what thread?
EDIT: 10mm X 1.50 X 40 flange bolt

Looks good! ^^^ Mine should be here tomorrow

I believe he is asking for the 10mm thread size...he can use the original 10mm bolt to find out thread pitch.

Your right my bad. I can probably find out this weekend when I swap it in. I'm going to drill and tap it to the factory 6.0 size bolt. I'll put a die on it and see what the thread count is. Going to have to anyway to know what size tap and drill bit to use

Thanks guys. That's exactly what I was asking for. That seems to be a better way to mount the 6.7 starter than using a smaller bolt. At least strength wise. I may be wrong. Also, that way I can still use my original bolts.

Just bought a 6.7 starter from a 2014 with 39k miles on it. With drilling and tapping that bottom bolt, hopefully it all works out okay.

USPS dropped off a gift today! Like an idiot as I was cleaning it I wiped off half the sticker The numbers were correct though. You can see the one smaller bolt on the bottom. Its in great shape though!

And courtesy of my work I'm borrowing a couple amp meters. I need to test them to make sure they're functioning properly

You need one that does DC amps. Both of them do AC/DC volts, but only AC amps. Unless I'm reading it wrong.

Ah crud your right. Don't know how that slipped my mind, I just assumed AC since that's what I deal with all day long on motors. I'll have to see if we even have a DC version

My ammeter won't be showing up until Monday. Really trying to figure out what is going on with Amazon lately. 2 day prime take 5 days???

Yep, you need DC amps, and you have to play with them to see how the responce is, if they capture true peak, or miss that. The really good ones seem to be in the $350 range. Bother then that you have to play.

EXACTLY! I've been dealing with that for a couple months now. I really think they're overwhelmed.

or that the part wasn't fulfilled by Amazon... you need to read carefully.

I bought a .5 micro ceramic filter just before the hurricane. Being somewhat trained in weather forecasting by the Navy, I track each hurricane because the weather guys are incompetent. A water boil is a big deal and always a probability with a large flood type disaster. A ceramic filter will make your water drinkable without boiling, add two 5 gallon buckets, faucet for the bucket and your set. Make all the water your family needs to survive.

I ordered two filters, increased quantity of the order, add to cart, check out...one filled by Amazon, one from the manufacturer, one arrived in two days, one in 5 days, both advertised as Prime. I think they are overwhelmed as well... did you know they even have drop boxes at 7-11? You order on-line and go to a drop box an hour later and open the box (like a post box) and grab your stuff...ONE HOUR!

I've had the delays for some time as well. I get a lot of stuff through AMZN and no matter what I've got I've never seen this type of delay with Prime, and I look for their inventoried stuff. Tonight they dropped in their earnings (Christmas ain't gonna be so good) and I wonder if they are trying to lessen shipping expense. If this continues they are going to loose some business.

You must be in the same location as a fulfillment center to get that?

My starter was ordered late Monday afternoon, delivered to the door Wednesday.
