One Year Ago Today

On this Day 1 year ago we Drove into the Local Dealership with our 2011 F250 6.7, and Drove out with our 2016 F250. In the past year the truck has gained about 20Kmi, and has been Flawless. The F250 is Bone Stock except for a set of Bilstein 4600 Shocks which were installed at 5Kmi, and the High idle mod. She gets almost 17MPG around town. I couldn't be Happier with this Truck, and plan to keep her for quite a while.

I'm glad you guys are doing better than I am.

In mid June I traded a 2013 Lariat for 2016 platinum and as of today my truck has spent a total of 30 day at two different dealers for repairs. The truck only has 7k miles.

Over 2 years and 13k miles ago I got my 2015... So far so good... I moved over the accessories from 2011 - bed mat, bed cover, floor mats. Minor dealer tweaks - but only 2 days in the shop total in over 2 years. I still have some minor stuff I want them to do...

blkout50 sorry to hear about all your problems and if I had to be totally honest I had some engine issues driver side exhaust valves replaced and then replacing entire head because it didn't solve the dreaded shutter issues during exhaust cleaning. almost 11 months of ownership it's been one of the most reliable vehicles considering the amount of mileage I have accumulated in such a short period I would suggest that you find better dealers for your problems if two dealers had this kind of issue. They had my truck back to me in less than 6 days and then when they determine that that didn't resolve the issue replacing the exhaust valves they took the truck back and within two days it was completely fixed of course they loaned me a vehicle to use. Basically my point is any vehicle can have an issue it's how they service it take care of it is more important to me than the brand especially considering how complicated these systems are I laugh when I look at my mechanic and he tells me it will be easy I tell him I can't even see the engine take care and good luck find a better dealer

Thanks Radium,
Not to hi jack this tread. It is what it is! The truck is a 2016 F350 CC LB 6.7L Platinum. It hasn't been just one problem, mostly a bunch of little things. The exception of an intermittent right front ABS issue that I have been fighting with for about 2500 miles. The problem is that it is intermittent and non repeatable. I think I found what is causing it and a solution. Waiting on the dealer to connect a data logger to prove or disprove my theory.

On a lighter note, my 2013 F350 CC LB 6.7L Lariat only had one problem in 65k miles. That was a leaking main water pump and fixed under warranty.

Before that I had a 2012 F250 SC LB 6.7L That one was plagued with problems also, mainly DEF issues.
