Hey guys.

I'm finding it hard to decide on tail lights for my 56. I think I want stock location but I want something custom ish.

What have you done?

I have been browsing the motorcycle taillights and there are some very nice stock and custom ones . I really like the Arlen Ness jet eyes but they are pricey gonna be over $ 600 Canadian

One thing to add, I would seriously consider adding a 3rd brake light up in the window or roof. I am going to add one because it seems people just do not pay much attention unless there is light in their face.
I have factory lights on my 47 caddy which are plenty bright and I have drivers right up my **** when turning off from roads even though I put my signals on right ahead of time. It is like they dont see them since they are not up in their face. My 37 Buick tail lights are even smaller. I would not go with a small tail light on your truck.

Here my tail lights with separate turn signals. LOL

Stock 53-54 tail and stop lights, after market turn signals from Signal Stat!

Of course yours being a 56, you could go with the stock shield style lights, which are a bit larger.

Those three lights above the rear window on 'Parkers' are also brake lights, all the rear lights are LED, makes a big difference.
