I was in your shoes at one point. I'm out of the standard cab F-150 and into a 79 Bronco. Super Cabs and Broncos are so much more convenient.


I'm not helpful but many of the other forum members will be.

The console I made butted up against the windshield seal and was about 10 inches deep at the center and just a 1 inch wider than the deck so it didn't interfere with seeing out , it didn't lower your vision at all this way. I put the deck up there because I refused to cut the crap out of my dash for a radio. I wrapped the console with the same material as the roof liner so it looked factory. As a conversation piece I left the factory 8 track in the dash, most people who looked in the truck never looked up and could not believe the awesome sound I got from an 8track.
