Last nights storm

Any one in the Brazos Valley get a chance to watch it? I took out the camcorder and took some nice shots of the lighting show. It was pretty spectacular in person but even cooler to watch is slow motion during playback.
Since the lightinig moves so fast, you don't realize just how much there is unless you see it on film. One shot seemed like it was just a single bolts running north across the sky, but during the slow mo replay, it looked like a huge tree in the sky.
some scences even looked like high noon daylight when paused during a flash.
Truly amazing how small and insignifigant we are in the whole scope of the universe, much less this planet.

Since I'm posting anyway, what was your worst experiance with lighting?
