Hey, Can anybody tell me how to change the headlights on a 2000 SD? I want to go to the new jewel style and can't figure out how to remove the old ones, including the parking lights. Thanks...

The park lights have two screws at the bottom. The side light is attached to it. The headlights have two clips on the top that need to be pulled upward....needlenose pliers. and a lower attachment that needs to be released..It would be good if you could see a picture

To release the bottom mounts, use a boxed end 9/16" and slip it over the plastic clip. It`s behind the rad. suport. If your going to use APC Projects, change the baulbs to Silver Stars now, and silicone the seams and sockets so they won`t leak. Some people have had problems. While your at it, drop in a SUV wiring harness. In stead of (about) 12.2v volts to the headlights you will get 14.4, great inprovement in brightness.
