I'm asking for an easy favor from my friends on Ford Truck forums! My F100 is currently at Terry's F100 Parts in Stromsberg, Nebraska having it's rusty roof replaced and a big back window conversion done. Terry and his guys are a great bunch- I must say! If you're not familiar with Terry's F100 Parts- he has tons of trucks and parts from 48 thru early 60's. If you haven't been there- it's worth a trip as his place is amazing.
Anyway- I tried to show Terry's how important social media is to business, but that fell on deaf ears. So what I'm asking is easy and it is not a scam. Would you be kind enough to go to his Facebook page and click the "like" button. I'd like to show him that even Facebook can generate traffic to his business! Help me "blowup" his Facebook page please! https://www.facebook.com/terrysf100parts/
Maybe he's happy with things just like they are and doesn't need more exposure. I would say if he declined, respect his decision and don't try to force your values onto him.

Have you seen how much stuff he has? He has two huge buildings full of trucks and parts and two other farms down the road with a couple dozen parts trucks at each If he had a wife- she would have killed him. LOL No seriously, I don't think he minds the exposure, he just thinks Facebook is for people that have nothing better to do. Thanks to the guys that "liked."

I don't use facebook, but as more younger people get involved in our hobby, i suspect it does get more important. Youth in the hobby is good.
Thanks to the 30+ guys that have gone to his page and liked it. It's no big deal- I just wanted to show that we cared. On another note- I'm 61 and I do use Facebook as I belong to motorcycle and pickup truck groups on Facebook. Any gained knowledge is good knowledge.

I'm 63 and agree. I'm on fb everyday. I like it because I get to keep up with a lot of old friends and relatives I wouldn't otherwise be able to. I also have a lot of older friends who don't do internet, don't have a smart phone and just like it that way, although it doesn't bother therm to have me look stuff up,lol.

You hit that right on the head! I too constantly look up and then purchase parts and etc. for friends that are scared of the internet. Thanks for the support- I was starting to thing it was me!
I have been looking for a few odds and ends for my '58 F-100 project. After reading this thread, I found Terry's website and gave them a call. They had the parts I was looking for and made for an easy transaction. I think making a purchase is about as good as posting "Like" on Facebook, right? In any case, they were a significant help to me.
I have been to Terry's house and seen his collection, and bought a bunch of parts. In fact I went there twice. It is amazing!!!!! I think I was there in 09. Amazing guy trucks are great. I have pics in my albums. They are on the second page. Check em out!! The pic with all the grills hanging is called his wind chimes.
