Anyone know if they're working on a pick so we could use the 360 cameras at all times? It'd be really handy I think. Especially the CHMSL bed camera for when we're hauling stuff.
Have the lockpicks been working well on the ford's? I've owned a few in various gms over the years and all have been so buggy I gave up on them altogether.
I know a few versions ago but I had Lockpick in my 2010 and it totally screwed up the GPS/Navigation. Probably because it has to trick the system into thinking the truck is parked to turn on the features.
i would love to be able to turn off all these limits too!!!! i assume ford made it very hard to bypass there system tho, i read in the manual that the truck basically has a black box that records everything that out of the norm, for example it records if there is a aftermarket part that affects the HP so they can void the warranty by blaming a falt on that part, the interesting part was that it records everything possible before a crash that cops can access to help find out who's to blame. like gas, brakes, steering, and more all down to the exact %, i think it was the last 30 seconds or something of data

The truck cannot detect "aftermarket parts," it simply records the output of its sensors in freeze frame obd2 data. This can be accessed by a dealer and if those outputs are exceeding plausibility of factory systems, the dealer can know you've run a tune. The recording of steering, accel, brake, and speed sensors is nothing new...vehicles have been doing this for years.
This would be sweet for the cameras. I would love to be able to toggle between the CHMSL and rear camera while going down the road. I get why they did this, but I would sure be nice to be able to check on my cargo every now and again. I will be watching this thread.
Nothing from lock pick yet on this but I did find this which will turn on the mirror cameras when the turn signals are activated. Be advised that it is not compatible with Sync 3 software version 2.2. Ford SYNC 3 Multi-Camera System for Factory LCD Screen
I'm told the Lockpick for F150 Sync3 will work on my '17 v2.2, trucks been busy working so no time for the audio shop yet but hopefully soon it will get a few updates
I was told by someone at ford headquarters about 6 mos. ago ford might offer a lockpick. I don't know if that is true or not. Maybe someone can find out more from a dealer parts dept.
I'd love to have the backup trailer camera on in drive. Big rig motor homes have this, it shows who's right on our trailers butt and where as the side mirrors cannot detect.
