I built this panel 8 years ago , It has been a great ride , But with a 53 F-100 all apart in the shop and a 53 F350 waiting in the back yard . I have to be sane enough , to sell the panel and use the $ to pay for the new project . I have used this truck for my everyday driver ,and it has worked great . Nothing like pulling a 16 ft trailer loaded with lumber out of Home depot . Or hauling my tractor . What looks I get . I will be sorry to see it go .
Price is a hard thing to come up with . I have been looking at trucks and cars in Hemmings , Craigslist , and E-bay . To get an ideal what to ask , from them it looks like I should start at 25K , But I think 18K would be fair Give me your opinions , It has 351W, C6 , power steering , power disk front and drum rear ,9 inch rear with 3-73 gears , Vintage heat and air , Body is in great shape , needs weather strip around rear door , and the hood always sits up at the rear , needs a smart guy to adjust it . Let me know .
Dr. Smith just my humble opinion I think your bottom dollar should be more like 20.5 to 21K.... For a driver you can jump in and go, has Heat/Air, Late model powertrain, reputation for reliability from being a Daily. 21K bottom dollar seems fair.
Heck makeing it back and forth to multiple Truckstocks should add value to it too! Go for a higher price as you can always go lower but hard to go higher
