Adjusting timer on automatic headlights
This seems like a simple question, but how do you adjust the timer on the automatic headlights, mine stay on for about 5 minutes after shutting off the truck. Thanks for your help.

Well you didnt say what model or year, but most have a roll **** next to the instrument panel light dimmer rheostat **** on the headlamp switch that you adjust the delay with. Some have a slide on the rear view mirror that you move right or left to make the adjustment.

Homer Winzlow, Sorry for not including the details, it is a 97 Lariat, and I do have the roll type switch next to the headlight switch. I guess I need the procedures for adjusting the time with this switch, as all it does now is turn the lights on or off. Thanks for your reply.
