Thanks for posting! They look similar to the previous gen. Worth the $100 IMO...

I did not get the FX4 package just the skid plates. I already had the sway bar in Snowplow/Camper package.

Yep, that's the way I'd do it too. The FX4 offers nothing but horrible Rancho branded shocks.

Always love looking underneath, thanks. As for the shocks my Truck was a 99 F350 7.3 CC XLT bought in 98. 200,000 miles everything stock even the shocks. Changed all fluids when called for. Did not burn oil or leak oil, sold for 16k. Worked it on the Farm and towed Tractor, hay and our RV. Hope the 17 can live up our 99. To bad I got the Rancho shocks. Oh well Ill change them when they go bad. Thank you for the PICs.

The Rancho branded shocks seem to be of a better quality than those in the past…..time will tell but they are definitely better than they used to be…..that said I wouldnt say they are better than the stock ones, just saying they may be as good as the stock ones now.

I sold a 1995 F250 7.3 with 85k miles on it for the 2017. It still brought $11,500. I was the original and only owner of it. Going to miss it but a lot less after the 17 was delivered.

scidlik,
Are those the factory tires that came with the truck? If so, what make and model are they?

They look to be the GY Wrangler AT Adventure w/Kevlar. They are one of the AT tires that come with the 17's along with the Michelin LTX AT2.

Same here. I didn't want the Rancho shocks (not that the stock are any better) and didn't want the FX4 sticker.

If those are GY with Kevlar good luck with them. They may be Kevlar but aren't worth a darn. I put them on my 16 F150 and picked up a steel wire from somebody's tire into my sidewall. My nephew has the same tires on his new Tacoma and got a damaged sidewall as well. I am going with Toyo or Nitto on my new truck
