1959 Ford F100 riser

I have a 1959 Ford F100 with a bit of issues I have been working out and the newest is a riser for my carburetor and I'm wondering how much of a power increase should I expect and should I retime the motor after the addition. I'm adding a 1" Edelbrock rider to my 1406 Edelbrock carb on my FE 390 Y block and I'm wondering how much of a power increase I should expect?

I wouldn't expect any whiplash-inducing increases. Every time I've seen a dyno run where they add a spacer the HP increases are in the single digit realm.
