So now for my first question Did I pay too much I spent $6000? Truck Runs and drives as it should. No rust and a 30FT Paint job Body not perfect some not dents but not some wows the ones you can feel not see. These are the only bad spots in the floor

Come and get my 1951 Ford F2 (3/4 ton) pickup, New brakes, wiring, battery, head gasket, glass, heater, gas tank, carburetor, generator, radio works, and paint. It has 1951 plates so no tab fees, ever. It starts right up and runs and drives great. This is a fun old truck. I'm selling because I just need the room for my Packard. Make me an offer!
The truck needs a small floor panel on the driver's side of the cab (about 6" by 1")
I have not installed the interior but I have it and that will go with the truck, it is black.
It will need the seat recovered, available at LMC truck.
I have an extra engine that goes with the truck as well. The extra engine is ready to install but you don't need it, I just want to clear out my garage, that is currently occupied by a 1950 Packard I am re building..
There are also a ton of other engine parts if you want them. I don't think I mentioned that there is a new exhaust system on the truck as well.
It has a 6V positive ground. It has the 4 speed trans without synchros you have to double clutch, this is by design it is not a broken transmission. The truck is a handful to drive it would not be a good daily driver unless you replaced the trans with an overdrive 3 speed from the F1 or a car.
I spent about 120% of what you did to get my truck in roughly the same condition as yours. I'd say you did alright. Unlike yours, my truck is in primer rather than paint.
After looking at your pictures and upon further consideration, I'm going to say I spent 135% of what you spent; and the condition of my truck is not in as good as the condition of yours. Assuming any rust your truck may have had is properly repaired, I think you did very well.
I paid $7000 for my 55 F350, plus I plus I bought $900 worth of tires. So I think you did good!
The paint job on my 55 is a lot like yours. There is no rust in the floorboards, the original seat is in with no tears or holes.
Here is how it looked the day I bought it:
Not a Ford but I thought I would share. This is another project I bought my dad earlier this year Bought as a basketcase it is up and running and paint is being done now.
