If you read the description the image was done by wishful thinking members of a forum, not by Ford. The image maybe somewhat like an original Bronco but reminds me too much of a Kia Soul.
There was some chatter about this a few months ago and along with the Bronco the Ranger should be returning as well. It is ironic that Trumps poking Ford about exporting jobs to Mexico got Ford to spill the official beans on the release and agreement with the UAW to produce the lines in Michigan.

I think the Ranger return is for 2018 and the Bronco is for 2020. The funny thing about the C-max heading south is that it's a low volume seller and it's going away anyway in favor of the new E-series sedans which will be all electric as I remember reading.
My youngest daughter, 2LT Sarah Seekins, US Army is "impatiently" awaiting the opening of the order banks for the Ranger so she can get in line to order hers early.
I'm sure they'll make something great, but it's just hard to say if they'll aim for the Jeep yj/cj/xj/abcdefghJ market, or another mommy-mobile. The Edge sells pretty well after all.
I'm not likely to purchase it either way, so I'm just an interested observer.
