Explorer tranny problem...
I have a '91 Exploder that I keep having problems with. At about 15,000 to 20,000 intervals the transmission starts slipping to the point of having to manually shift it. After changing the filter and fluid it seems to clear up somewhat. It also registers no fluid on the dipstick when the slipping starts and as soon as you add any amount of fluid, it shows it to be overfilled. Can ANYONE tell me what might be going on with this thing and what I can do to fix it????
